Imagine working with an iconic 90s brand that not only defined an era but also left an indelible mark on the world of fashion and culture. Now, imagine that dream becoming a reality. This is the story of this project with Cross Colours – a dream come true, a fusion of nostalgia, and a celebration of timeless style.

One summer, I was afforded the opportunity to see Cross Colours HQ and meet Carl Jones and TJ Walker, the founders of the brand. From the moment I stepped into their showroom, I felt like I was stepping into a vibrant time capsule, reliving the spirit of the 90s that Cross Colours so brilliantly captured.

As we delved into the design process, the excitement was palpable – the vision of creating a sock that not only paid homage to the brand's iconic status but also embraced its cultural significance had me a little giddy.

The heartbeat of the collaboration lies in the kente-inspired pattern that graces the sock. It's more than just a design; it's a nod to the rich history and traditions that Cross Colours brought to the forefront. Each intricate thread weaves a narrative of diversity, unity, and self-expression – values that both our brands proudly embrace.

As the final product comes to life, it's not just a sock – it's a dream realized. It's a tribute to the brand that defined a generation and homage to the culture that inspired us. This project is more than an accessory; it's a testament to the magic that happens when dreams meet reality.
